Our Team
FOUNDER & CEO – MR. TSOANELO MATHATJANE
Mr. Mathatjane is a versatile entrepreneur from Lesotho with 15 years of business experience prior to founding his current venture. His expertise extends over five years in the security sector. Serving as the Managing Director of MLG Security Services located in Welkom, Free State, South Africa, Mr. Mathatjane has a history of collaboration with Harmony Mine through subcontracting, as well as with various corporations in the Welkom area. His tenure has endowed him with a comprehensive set of soft and technical skills, which he now applies effectively as the leader of MLG Security Services in Lesotho. Holding both a Diploma and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, specializing in Accounting and Business Studies, Mr. Mathatjane is responsible for formulating, communicating, and implementing the company’s vision and strategies alongside the management team. He oversees the management team’s operations and has the final say in the company’s strategic, financial, and administrative resolutions.
COO – MR. MOTSAMAI RAMAROTHOLE
Mr. Ramarothole, a citizen of Lesotho, boasts an impressive tenure of over 28 years in the security field. His career progression saw him ascend from roles such as Security Guard to Senior Officer, and eventually to Principal Security Officer. His responsibilities included operating escort vehicles for armed guards, transporting them between factories and banks. Advancing further, he took on the role of Operations Manager for Security Guards and presided over disciplinary proceedings. His completion of an Industrial Security course has equipped him with the knowledge to enhance operational management within the security industry.
In addition to his security expertise, Mr. Ramarothole has been enriched by training in the New Labour Relations System in Lesotho, an initiative by the International Labour Organisation (ILO). His dedication extends beyond his profession, as evidenced by his active involvement with the Lesotho Taekwondo Association. At MLG Security Services, he is entrusted with the oversight of operations and the crucial task of maintaining relationships with the company’s principal partners and clientele.
